I have been working in film and video production for more than thirty years, spending most of my time in documentary and educational production, but also exploring the genres of music video, corporate/industrial pieces, and broadcast television projects.  My visual style tends to soft big source lighting and moving the camera close to subjects.  My working style is grounded in getting to know my people well, connecting with them on a human level, and treating them with honesty, compassion and respect.  A great cameraman I know once told me, "you have to know when to shoot, and when to put the camera down and be with your people".  I have always taken those words to heart.
